This is a rematch of last year's AFC championship game. Same venue.

What has changed about these teams since then?

This game, and especially the -2.5 spread is a complete mindfuck.

Still, I'm taking Chiefs -2. Wouldn't be surprised if Bills get their revenge though. I'm a big Mahomes fan so I'm riding with him.

If I were the Bills, I'm trying to get pressure without blitzing and sticking with that game plan for the most part. Chiefs have shown that they will turn it over or stall if they are forced to go the length of the field methodically.

Sure the Chiefs (I talk about the Packers a lot but I'm just a big fan of Mahomes and don't miss a single game, not one second) and Mahomes later in the season eventually started to get patient and run more and take the check down passes to adjust to what teams were doing, but I think you still try it to start the game.

Buffalo has the better defense and they can score. They just have to limit Chiefs to Field Goals a couple of times and can win this. Buffalo beat up some weak teams and struggled against good ones. I don't know what to make of this team and honestly I haven't watched all of them games this season to say I really know them as well as I do the Chiefs. Probably going to go back and watch some games.

This is purely an action bet and loyalty bet for Mahomes and a small one. Bills can definitely beat the Chiefs and this will be a great game. My bigger play in this one will probably be Bills spread and the over.

As a Chiefs fan I won't lie. I'm very worried about the Bills.

I wise old FB coach once told me, ‘ no team is ever as good or bad as they looked in their last game’. Point being that Buffalo played as nearly close to a perfect game as possible ( 2 missed X-pts). Never saw such a unprepared NE team???

Looking over the Buffalo schedule, with the exception of the 10/10 game vs Mahomes, the 12/12 vs Brady (the downside of a great career but still effective) and 10/18 vs Tannehill (efficient, but not spectacular) they’ve faced mediocre QB’s. Add rookie Jones and those are the only play-off QB’s they’ve faced, going 3-3 with 2 wins vs Jones.

KC has faced 7 play-off QB’s (Carr 2X) going 4-3. Their conference was much stronger then the AFC EAST. Take into account also how difficult it is to beat a team twice in the same season and that Reid will have his team better prepared then NE was. Getting Helaire back can only help.

I believe Buffalo certainly can win this game, however it also appears to me the line of +2 (currently at BETUS) is inducing you to play Buffalo off their performance vs NE. Mahomes is playing better and is a running threat. Buffalo hasn’t played against a mobile QB unless you consider Miller.

I can’t trust a team who’s main running threat is the QB and I honestly don’t think the Buffalo D is as strong as it looked against the likes of the Jets,NE,Atlanta,Carolina and NO, none of which I consider offensive juggernauts.

I’ll be using KC in a 10 point teaser along with SF (if Garappolo is healthy) and the Rams (I think TB is very vulnerable). Good luck.

so they beat old-man Ben 2x, crap Hurts 1x, Carr 1x, and Dax 1x (without Cooper and Lamb). Ben and Hurts aren't top 20 QB's, Carr is, and Dax is but tough without Coop and Lamb. Agree that Buffalo didn't exactly face murder's row in the AFC East but there was a time when the Pats moved up to #1 fav to win the AFC until the division saw Mac Jones a 2nd time. But, be honest, Mac is better than Hurts and Ben.... and they manhandled him 2x

At times even the hapless Steelers moved the ball efficiently against KC's porous defense. Imagine what Josh Allen will do to them. Actually, we don't have to imagine, we already know what he did earlier this season.

Buffalo has the #1 rated defense in the NFL. They don't have to stop Mahomes every drive, just enough to let Allen work his magic.

Game is basically a PK'em at best with the Chiefs given a courtesy 2.5 pts for HFA.

Bills are the better team overall and hungry to erase last year's heartbreaking ouster at the hands of these same Chiefs.

Both CIN/TN and BUF/KC opened at 2.5.

TN has moved to 3.5 because the money is on TN, whereas KC has dropped to 2 because the market is favoring Buffalo.

Is that when Bills beat down Chiefs? Everybody knows Chiefs were struggling on defense early. And on offense they were having trouble adjusting to teams making them work methodically down the field as opposed to quick strike TD drives.

Chiefs are in much better form now than that meeting on Oct.10.

Don't get me wrong. Bills can absolutely win this game and Chiefs-2.5 is my smallest play this weekend.

Very tough game. 3 feels right - told myself before the line came out if it was >3 I'd be on Bills and less than 3 Chiefs.

Bills have built their team to beat the Chiefs, they viewed the Chiefs as the big brother in the AFC that had to be taken down. That is one of the reasons they struggled some with power running teams this year (Indy, Tenn, NE), their personnel is somewhat ill-equipped to deal with that because of how much they're built to beat the Chiefs who are the opposite of those teams.

KC's OL is better than it was last year with the additions of Humphrey, Thuney, Brown but the advantage they had was they had the best TE and 1 of the best WR's. Can't play man vs Hill, can't play zone vs Kelce....I think both of these guys have comeback to the pack some this year, Hill because of injuries/defenses taking him away more and Kelce because of age. Their offense just isn't as explosive, Pitt is not a good team and didn't belong in the playoffs.

Think Bills D holds up a little better and their weapons are a little younger/better with Diggs, Knox, McKenzie, Davis.

Week 5 wasn't everything, no 1 game is but it wasn't nothing either

Think Bills win SU

Agree, Pats.

Two other things that I think are significant about the Bills offense. Allen has suppressed his desire to go for the big play. He has found an underneath passing game with his backs, Beasley and an emergent McKenzie. The running game with Singleary has also come alive from the running back position over the past five weeks since losing to Tampa with only 7 attempts from the RB position. Breida and Moss have hardly been heard from over the past 5 weeks.

And for my money the Bills have a much better D than the Chiefs.
